The Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy& International Affairs at AUB is pleased to announce the third lecture in its series 'The Impact of Climate Change on the Arab World'. Carrying the title 'Climate Change and Carbon Emissions Trading in the Arab World: A Realistic Answer to the Dangers Ahead?', the lecture shall be held Tuesday, March 25, from 5-7pm, at the Auditorium B of AUB West Hall.  more

The Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at AUB is pleased to announce the inaugural event of its program The Research and Policy Forum on Climate Change and Environment in the Arab World which aims to provide a mechanism that brings together AUB professors, other academics and researchers, civil society and policymakers to formulate environmental policies in the Arab world and to mitigate the impact of expected climate change scenarios and other environmental challenges.  more
