In association with the Arabic search engine AYNA, MICROSOFT, and the BSA, the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy organized on Sunday the 24rth of January 2010 a ceremony at the Grand Ballroom of Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel to honor the winners in the Lebanon Web Awards Competition 2009.

The website of His Excellency Mr. Issam Fares was classified among the best websites under the VIPs Category.



The ceremony was attended by the United Arab Emirates Ambassador Mr. Rahma Hussein el-Zoabi, the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom Ambassador Mr. Ziad el-Majali, and representatives from the Embassies of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, the Fares Foundation General Manager Mr. William Moujalli, and the General Manager of Issam Fares Center for Lebanon H.E. Mr. the Ambassador Dr. Abdallah BouHabib. Among the attendees were also cultural and media figures, and experts in the Information and Technology sectors, and web developing and designing companies.

The award& Certificate and Excellence were presented to the Fares Foundation General Manager Mr. William Moujalli.



Following the announcement of the prizes and the presentation of the Certificates of Excellence, a gala dinner was held by the Academy in honor of the winners.

It is worth noting that Lebanon Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web design and development skills. It is opened to all designers and developers in Lebanon, giving them an opportunity to showcase their work. This event aims at bringing together web design companies, freelancers and web owners in a competition for the best website in each of a variety of categories.
