The Mufti of Tripoli and the North Malek Al Shaar received the Fares Foundation General Manager Mr. William Mjalli, representing former Vice-Premier Mr. Issam Fares. Mr. Mjalli conveyed the greetings of Fares who praised the “role of Al Shaar in disseminating the culture of love and dialogue” and “his positions and statements aiming at reinforcing security, stability and conviviality.” He that the visit aimed also at “inviting Al Shaar to take part in an honoring ceremony of His Eminence, the Most Reverend Ephraim Kyriakos, the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tripoli, al-Koura and Dependencies of the Church of Antioch, in Akkar, to be held on February 6, 2010.”

He mentioned that “Al Shaar accepted the invitation and that he has a sound system in which Fares believes. Therefore, it is always a pleasure to meet His Excellency, since our message is one, our path is one, i.e. to disseminate the seeds of good, hope and love among the citizens of one country.”
