A Workshop on EMPLOYMENT OF PALESTINIAN REFUGEES IN LEBANON: LABOR MARKET REALITIES WITHIN THE POLITICAL AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK

The Issam Fares Institute is hosting a one-day workshop at AUB to take stock of what progress has been made on the issue of civil rights for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, specifically on the issue of employment. Presentations from government officials, scholars, lawyers and civil society members will clarify the obstacles that need to be dealt with. The roundtable discussions will serve as a platform for better coordination and complementarity of work among the different actors. Discussions will be centered on producing a road map for all concerned, and will highlight gaps in advocacy and research.
