Short Bio:

Dr. Tarik Yousef
is the founding Dean of the Dubai School of Government, and a leading authority on the economies of the Arab world. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University, specializing in development economics and economic history. His research and policy experience includes working as an economist and professor at the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Millennium Project at the United Nations, and Georgetown University.
At present, he is a Senior Fellow at the Wolfensohn Center for Development at the Brookings Institution, a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and Non-resident Senior Public Policy Scholar at the Issam Fares Institute.
