Former Deputy Prime Minister Issam Fares delegated General William Mjali to congratulate the President of the Bar Association in Tripoli Bassam Al Daye at his offices in the Seray. Mjali conveyed Fares best wishes to the new president of the Bar and “his admiration for the role played by the Bar Association in Tripoli, which is deeply rooted in the public life in the North, in Lebanon and in the Arab world.”

Al Daye thanked Fares for his interest and welcomed General Mjali again confirming the “progress toward a more profitable relationship and a beneficial cooperation for the Fares Foundation and the Bar Association at the same time.”

Military, political and syndical personalities visited Al Daye among them the “Free Patriotic Movement” coordinator in Tripoli Pierre Raffoul.

The President of the Bar Association also received a telegram from Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar.
