Speakers:
Fawaz Traboulsi is a lecturer at the American University of Beirut, a writer and historian. He is also a
long time journalist and author of A History of Modern Lebanon.
Tarek Mitri is Senior Research Fellow at the Issam Fares Institute, and former Minister of Culture and
Minister of Information.
Rabab Al-Mahdi is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the American University in Cairo. She has
been active in the Egyptian revolts and is co-editor of Egypt: The Moment of Change.
