Dr. El-Jardali will present findings from a retrospective policy analysis exercise that aimed at generating in-depth insights about how public policies in Lebanon are made, influences over policymaking and use of evidence to support policy actions. The voluntary health insurance policy was used as a case study.

Dr. Fadi El-Jardali is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut and the Research Director of the Research, Advocacy and Public Policy-making Program (RAPP) at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs. He is also an investigator with the Program in Policy Decision-Making at McMaster University, Canada.
